Testing your water pressure!

At every inspection, we measure the water pressure for the plumbing supply lines. Optimal and safe pressure is between 55-75 PSI. If it’s too low, you will notice low pressure when you have multiple fixtures running, which can be an issue for larger families, running loads of laundry, using the dishwasher, and people showering. If the pressure is too high, there is an increased chance of damage to plumbing supply lines and fittings, primarily at smaller lines, like you refrigerator water line. Plumbing leaks can go undetected, can cause a lot of damage, and can be very expensive to fix.
